| Description | Friends of Thai Daughters (FTD) prevents child trafficking and exploitation by providing safe housing, education, and long-term mentorship to girls from remote ethnic-minority villages. This grant will fund scholarships for ten new students, covering tuition, supplies, transport, health care, and tutoring for the 2026 academic year. Our program nurtures academic success (97 % graduation, 95 % university enrollment) while fostering leadership through workshops and community service. The funds will directly support each girl’s education and wellbeing, ensuring she grows into a confident, self-reliant young woman who uplifts others in turn.
|
| Used for | We will use the funds to provide full educational scholarships for ten at-risk hill-tribe girls in Northern Thailand. This includes school fees, uniforms, books, transportation, and academic tutoring for one year. Each girl will also receive safe housing, mentorship, and nutritious meals at our Sunflower Farm campus. |
| Benefits | This investment gives vulnerable girls the chance to stay in school and build independent, dignified lives. Educating girls is proven to reduce poverty, early marriage, and exploitation—creating ripple effects across families and communities. Your support transforms individual lives while strengthening the social fabric of an entire region. |
