| Description | 30 years ago I helped write the Trail policies and objectives for the Fall City Sub-Area Plan. after helping to create the Fall City Park district I was the first to gift the Park District with a set of Equestrian Trail Books donated personally to me by Mary Patricia Dougherty and the Dougherty Foundation Recently King County acquired the Raging River Quarry , here in Fall City and will be making those 7 acres into a Trail Nexus. There is a Trail easement from the Quarry to Fall City This crossing will be beneficial in helping to preserve and enhance our Rural Character in conjuction with the Northwest Natural Horsemanship Center - they are responsible for the Horse Arena and its amazing recent renovation - NWNHC.Com Fall City Pegasus Horse Crossing From the Fall City Riding Arena - see map below Across Highway 203 to connect to the Snoqualmie Valley Trail, Preston Snoqualmie Trail and Iron Horse Trail construct and install Two 30 foot steel utility poles Steel Art Cross Piece connecting the two Utility poles, crossing two lanes of traffic Including hardware and wiring for crossing light, hooks for flowers and seasonal decorations and artist decorative directional signs

| Benefits | Fall City enjoys a large and active equestrian community. The regional trail system runs statewide through Washington state and Fall City is at the Heart of the Snoqualmie Valley and is a trail nexus.connecting the Snoqualmie Valley trail , Preston-Snoqualmie Trail and the Iron Horse Trail Allowing riders to access the crossing light signal buttons without dismounting is a matter of safety for the riders, as is the safety corral, where the riders can wait protected from motorized vehicle traffic. Signage and lighting will significantly improve early notice to vehicular traffic of the crossing being occupied |
