Feed the Streets - Hollywood Sunday Dinners

Founded in 2020, Feed the Streets believes that food is a human right, and one small act of kindness can make a real difference. We provide direct support to our most vulnerable neighbors who are facing food insecurity and homelessness through supplying hundreds of meals a week in Hollywood, MacArthur Park, and Downtown Los Angeles. At the heart of our meal services are more than 100 active volunteers who contribute thousands of hours each year cooking and serving delicious and nutritious food for our neighbors. Grant funding will support the operating expenses at Feed the Streets’s outpost in Hollywood, where we serve dinner to about 200 people each Sunday. Funds will be used to purchase fresh vegetables and proteins for meal preparation, nutritious ready-to-eat items, snacks, fruits, beverages, and serving supplies such as utensils and to-go containers. $2,500 will sustain our operation for more than 3 weeks, providing over 600 meals as well as critical hygiene products such as soap, wet wipes, bandages, and sanitary pads.
