Services include Hotline Assistance, Crisis Chat, Crisis Intervention, Intake, Safety Planning, Court Accompaniment, Hospital Accompaniment, Legal Assistance, Peer Support, Adult Counseling, Child Counseling, Family Counseling, Support Groups, Therapeutic Group, Community Education, Expert Witness Testimony, Nights of Safety, including food, clothing, toiletries, and transportation.
Benefits Funds from The Dudley T. Daughtry Foundation would allow victims to become resilient and active members of the community. By providing our clients with resources and services, they are then capable of utilizing their strength not only to break the cycle of abuse but to serve their community by working, advocating, or volunteering.
Proposal Description The Mission of Hope Alliance is to assist those whose lives have been affected by family and sexual violence by providing safety, services, and developing partnerships that lead to hope, healing and prevention. Our typical client is a homeless Mom with 2 to 3 children who has suffered domestic abuse or family violence and comes to the shelter seeking safety. The average income of a client is low to moderate. Our goal is to help 3,000 people increase their protective factors to become resilient members of their community. The average cost per client is $835.00 and funds from The Dudley T. Daughtry Foundation would help Hope Alliance provide Hotline Assistance, Crisis Chat, Crisis Intervention, Intake, Safety Planning, Court Accompaniment, Hospital Accompaniment, Legal Assistance, Peer Support, Adult Counseling, Child Counseling, Family Counseling, Support Groups, Therapeutic Group, Community Education, Expert Witness Testimony, Nights of Safety, including food, clothing, toiletries, and transportation to multiple clients.
