| Used for | The proceeds of the Grant will be used for time and materials to administer and deliver training in Dispute Resolution and problem solving. Recipients of the training will be 13 children ages 5 - 10 years old at an after school program. The funds will be used by the Greater Brockton Center for Dispute Resolution, Inc. to create. deliver, monitor & support the training that will be provided by Children's Express Learning Center, Inc. in their after school day care program. |
| Benefits | Teaching children how to resolve conflicts at an early age will set the foundation for additional training as they mature. We believe that because a large percentage of the children are at-risk, training at an early age can have a profound effect on the future development of the children. |
| Proposal Description | The primary beneficiaries of our dispute resolution training program are the children. Secondary beneficiaries are the parent(s) of the children, their siblings and school mates. A future beneficiary is the society at large as the children mature and become part of the community. |
