For artists this La Peña provides an opportunity to exhibit and sell their work as well as receive public feedback and provide the opportunity to meet fellow artists and community members. For youth, specifically young girls workshops provide the opportunity to learn life-long skills that will help them flourish as individuals. Monies for the series of six workshops will go to help pay for curriculum development and the conducting of workshops by noted UT Professor, Michael Brody.<br/> |
