Younger Group & Pee Wee Programs

The primary requirement for participation in a PDAP program is the desire to lead a chemical-free life. Our main purpose is to offer free support group services to teenagers (ages 12 to 17) and adults who express a desire to find an alternative to drug and alcohol use; to parents who seek solutions to family and personal conflicts arising from drug or alcohol use by a family member; and to younger brothers and sisters of drug abusing siblings or parents. Our mission is to carry our love and understanding to others, and to practice the principles of love and honesty in our daily lives, with the help of God as we understand Him.

To combat the ever-changing face of drug and alcohol addiction, we offer:
• Individual and group 12-step support services for members and their parents and family members.
• On-going support, companionship, and encouragement to the abuser through a comprehensive program of fellowship, weekly meetings, parties, activities, and "straight" friends. Positive peer pressure is vital to the success of PDAP.
• Parent support through group discussions as well as group and individual 12-step support services. The Parent Group plays a major role in the recovery process.
• Prevention and education through speaking engagements and presentations for schools, civic organizations, businesses and churches.
Most importantly, we offer consistency, encouragement, support, supervision and chemical-free, caring, loving and moral role models to our young people. To their parents and family members, we offer a new way of helping their child and confidence that this is not their fight alone—that there are other people with the same issues and the same fears who can provide a source of assistance.
We work with the younger brothers and sisters of our younger group to teach them coping skills, so that hopefully they don't follow the path that their siblings took.
