Benefits Losing a loved one can cause people to withdraw from society, not be able to function in the workplace, not be able to care for their family. All of these things have a chain reaction in the lives of those that work and are close to the person experiencing grief. Our hope is to help them to rejoin society to have hope in the future and to see their own value in the world around them.
Proposal Description The Grief Support Group, facilitated by a Pastor and a licensed psychologist.
The purpose is to meet weekly to help persons within the Beeville Community and surrounding areas facing challenges after experiencing a loss of a loved one through death. We are a nondenominational support group.

There are three key elements of this program that work together to help in the recovery process:
1) Video Seminar - insights from experts and personal stories to help through the grief process.
2) Support Group - Discussion in small groups on how the Video Seminar may relate to your life. Sharing experiences. Q & A with group facilitators.
3) Personal Workbook: Study and Reflection - A take home book to continue the process at home.

The goal is to help in them to process their feelings and to move toward rebuilding their lives.
