Description |
For 37 years, The Boys & Girls Club of Beeville has been in the forefront of youth development, working with young people from disadvantaged, economic, social and single-parent family circumstances. The club has actively sought to enrich the lives of girls and boys whom other youth agencies have had difficulty reaching. We are dedicated to ensuring that all of our community’s children and teens-especially those who need us most have access to our Club’s quality programs and services to enhance their lives and positively shape their futures. The Beeville Boys & Girls club staff and directors are committed to providing exciting programs that are for all youth ages 6-18. At our club we believe prevention, not intervention, is the key to a successful youth. Grant funds will be used to make an impact before the youth become involved in a harmful lifestyle that statistics tell us is hard to break free from. Staff is in place to run our core programs. They know our kids and what their needs are. Every day, we strive to fulfill our mission of enabling young people to reach their full potential as productive, caring, responsible citizens. Continued funding from your organization allows us to provide the positive programs found within our doors. When kids are actively engaged in positive activities they stay out of trouble and off the streets. |

Benefits |
The funds will provide a safe place for our members to spend their non-school hours and the summer as an alternative to the streets or being home alone. We provide opportunities to build new skills that raise each child's belief that he or she can succeed and receive recognition for personal accomplishments. Our Generation-changing programs support a commitment to learning, positive values, healthy habits and high expectations for success as an adult all while developing ongoing relationships with caring adults and connections to new friends in a positive environment where they feel a sense of belonging, personal accountability, civility and civic responsibility. |
