If awarded a grant we would use the money for general operating purposes. Specifically production costs and with paying for live scans for all of the volunteers that want to teach a mattel childrens hospital. Our productions typically cost between 7k & 10k so any support you can provide goes a long way in ensuring that we can still do them. |

If awarded this grant the Ruskin Group Theatre will continue to produce critically acclaimed shows, teach theater games and perform for Sick Children at the Mattel Childrens Hospital and continue to mentor foster youth. |

Art brings out the child in all of us. It is often said that art does not cure any disease. Our arguemnet to that is that while that is true people who cure cancer need a break, an opportunity to reflect upon the human condition that makes them want to solve the worlds problems. We believe art provides people with that break and reflcetion period. |
